The Tharkas Effect. Praetoriani's newest recruit was close in taking down MYM.Scandinavia in the NGL-One Qualifier.

Tonight's match in the NGL-One Season 2 Qualifier was between Praetoriani and the Scandinavian squad of MeetYourMakers. The Swedish Human player Tharkas proved to play an important role in this clash. He is Praetoriani's newest member as he joined about a week ago. He was not allowed to play against World Elite Europe for previously playing in FatCap. Now, he was allowed to play and Praetoriani placed him first - a smart move.

Giving his team quite a good start taking down three of MeetYourMakers players, Tharkas was satisfied. But against Ciara he met his maker.
- Twisted Meadows is a map where I can creep the laboratory and if I do it unharassed I get a huge advantage, but I did not and he creeped instead of trying to harass, says Tharkas. He got some good timings, I also made some mistakes, adds Tharkas.
Rates the chances of qualifying rather good
Tharkas was not particularily worried going up against MeetYourMakers.
- It was hard for me to see that we would lose four times against Ciara, I didn't think we would have a chance to lose when only Ciara was left, says Tharkas.
He rates Praetoriani's chances of advancing rather good even though he states they may be the underdogs in some of the games.
- I still believe that all players in Praetoriani can beat anyone who is in this qualifier anytime any day, and everything can happen in best of one matches, he reveals.
Is this the return of Tharkas? He has been a bit inactive for quite some time, but now the Swedish Human player seems to be back in action.
- I have been playing much recently, and been motivated. I enjoy this new area of Praetoriani and lots of other people, says Tharkas. He is playing with high confidence as well lately.
- In my opinion, if you really enjoy something you play much better than just to be at a qualifier and try to qualify just because you want the trip, says Tharkas and referrs to the Swedish World Cyber Games preliminaries.
There he ended Top 4, after losing to ElakeDuck in the semi finals. He showed great results there, especially the tiebreaker match between FuRy ending 2-1 in favour for Tharkas. It will surely be interesting to see Tharkas in future NGL-One matches.
