This week-end, five new players have won their ticket to Monza, Italy, to participate to the World Cyber Games Finals. These players are from Canada, Croatia, Australia and Mexico.

Like last year, Canada offered 2 slots to the Grand Finals to its participants. And like last year, the infamous star from the Templars of Twilight ToT)Testie( (picture) won the tournament, beating oG)ZergRaptor twice in both the Winner Bracket and the Grand Final. But despite this loss, ZergRaptor will fly to Monza too.

Many people were surprised by the 3rd place finish of the Protoss legend Legionnaire (picture) in the WCG 2005 Finals. Maybe Peter Neate will be able to confirm this result this year again, since he just won the Australian World Cyber Games, beating his teammate 96)SenSei in Grand Final. Will Legionnaire be able to perform as weel as in Singapore this year? "Long live Peter the great!" - Rekrul.

This year, the Croatian player MgZ)Ptak (picture) has been able to show his skill in different competitions like the World Team Cup, WGTCL and MMT Tournaments. And thanks to his victory against Dendra-AFM-, he will be able to play against the best players in Korea in Monza. There he will meet several of his teammates like KaShu, Lowely and StYm (read below).

During the past years, one man was leading the Mexican Broodwar scene - the famous Blast[CkG]. But this year, a newcomer has de-throned the king who will have to stay in South America next October. MgZ)StYm will thus represent Mexico this year in Italy and will try to perform as well as his countrymate did during the past competitions.
