Tseric: "Current outdoor PvP activities are not intended to be another venue for loot or honor. They are not intended to replace BGs as a main source of honor.
They are designed to accentuate a few things:
• PvP incentives for zones which see heavy activity already. They operate as something else to do. This is why they are currently implemented in Silithus and EPL, fairly trafficked zones.
• Playing off of already existing PvP. Again, these zones see more spontaneous PvP, so these objectives play into that activity.
• The buffs simply provide another bonus for players already in the zone. Useful, but it really doesn't see much benefit in a strict PvE setting (dungeon) because the buff won't last long enough for any significant progress in a nearby dungeon.
Current objectives are basically there to add some benefits to already occurring activity.
