Just some hours ago the final of Pringles MSL has been played. Protoss player Nal_ra faced Zerg player IPXZerg in a bo5 to determine the winner.

Nal_rA faces IPXZerg (Savior[gm]).The event starts with a opening ceremony in front of several thousands of visitors. The modus of the final is best out of 5. The mappool includes four different maps as 815 III has been added twice to the mappool, once as starting map and once as the deciding fifth map. As usual the game have been broadcasted on many channels on Afreeca. Unfortunetaly several of the channels were full quite soon, but still many were able to watch the games live.[spoiler]

With an overwhelming 3-1 victory in favour of
IPXZerg the Pringles MSL finals ended just today. Game one :
Nal_rA tried a dual off-gate rush, but gets blocked by many lings. He switches to Corsair/Reaver drop tech, but his reavers haven't been very effective at all. IPXZerg masses up and does a big drop in Nal_rA's main. 1-0 IPXZerg.Game two :
Nal_rA starts with fast expo followed by many speed Zealots who manage to kill some Drones here and there and the Pool of IPXZerg, who builds Lurker/Ling. Just some minutes later Nal_rA gets his observer and finnishes the Zerg with a combo of Zealot/Archon and nice micro. 1-1

Game three :
Nal_ra gets fast +1 attack upgrade and tries to deal damage to IPXZerg who took his expo and secured it with several sunkens. Nal_rA fails miserably with his attack as he is doing almost no damage, but loses many Zealots and gets attacked by Lings in his main. Two Lurker arrive soon for IPXZerg, but Nal_rA manages to defend his just built expo. Just some while later an impressive amount of Mutalisks arrives and destroys both main and expo. A few Archons aren't able to deal serious damage to the Mutalisks. 2-1 IPXZerg

Game four :
Probably the shortest game of the series. Nal_rA secured the entrance to his expo with 2 Cannons and a Warpgate, IPXZerg goes dual expo, builds 12 Hydralisks afterwards and kills the few Cannons. Very fast game, 3-1 and IPXZerg is the winner of Pringles MSL 2006.
