The teams who have played the first round of the playoffs are not exactly the ones who had been posted in the previous World Cup news because of a dispute between
Malaysia and 
Taiwan, in the Asian group stage. After the match was played, Taiwan won the encounter by 3-2. After that, it has been found that 4LeaF, who had won his match by 2-0, had used the SCV stack bug to win his game. The score was thus changed to 1-1. The Malaysian player finally won the last game, that gave Malaysia the victory and a spot to the playoffs. Then Taiwan complained, explaining that the Malaysian player who had been played against 4LeaF was not the one who was meant to be.
