Most of you must have gone through a certain path until finally find out StarCraft. And that path might be resumed into the following: you find a new game in the store, buy it and bring home. Then, you might check it or not, sometimes you install once and never touch it again. Well, if you are one of those then you are not alone.

"I purchased StarCraft a week after it was released with no intention of ever playing it" - with that sentence J.R. Sutich starts his article named "Twenty Seven Hours Later" in » Escalpist Magazine.

Here some other quotes:

"I double-clicked StarCraft's little spaceship icon, this time willing to give the game a chance and play through the single-player campaign. Twenty-seven hours later, with my right hand tightening up from mouseclaw, I finally shut down the game. I was addicted."

"Over the next few weeks, my addiction became an obsession."

"...hearing "Nuclear launch detected" within the first five or 10 minutes of a match was becoming the extent of my experience on b.net, and it was frustrating"

It is such a quite interesting reading and some, most - if not all - of you might have some "dejavu's" for a couple situations described over there. That should be enough reason to read it - so give it a try!
