Best in Role: Warriors on Dragon Shire

Warriors are crucial to team compositions on Dragon Shire.

Their innate sustain makes them great solo laners and allows them to hold shrines alone. They can also rotate to create a numbers advantage to help secure shrines. The major things to have on Dragon Shire for Warriors is solo laning potential (sustain and wave clear) and ganking potential (crowd control and globals).

When your draft demands it and it's up to you to fill the position, consider these warriors when playing on Dragon Shire.

#1 Dehaka

Dehaka is, in my opinion, the best Warrior on Dragon Shire.

  • Dehaka becomes incredibly difficult to out sustain if you take One-Who-Collects, Adaptation, Rapid Regeneration, and Change is Survival.

  • His wave clear is the best of any warrior with Primal Aggression, allowing him to push in and secure the shrine or rotate.

  • Brushstalker allows him to quickly rotate across map to help on a shrine

  • Burrow allows him to survive a little bit longer when he is low health which can be the difference between securing a Dragon Knight and losing it.

  • Drag also helps him control shrines by pulling enemies off the circle.

Dehaka is probably the best choice on this map, but even after his most recent changes he is probably still best played in a double Warrior composition.

This is the standard build for Dehaka that is taken most of the time on Dragon Shire. Don't be afraid to deviate a bit from it based on your needs for each particular game.

#2 Rexxar

Rexxar has seen less wins on Dragon Shire in recent weeks, but still remains at a 51% win rate over the last month. He is still very powerful as a pocket pick on this battleground.

  • Misha’s sustain is amazing with Hunter-Gatherer, Hungry Bear, Blood of the Rhino, and Critical Care.

  • He can use Misha to hold a shrine while he pushes and stays healthy.

  • His wave clear can be improved if necessary with Easy Prey, Bird of Prey, and Wildfire Bear.

  • Spirit Swoop, Misha Charge, and Unleash the Boars provide solid crowd control for ganks. Especially if you take Crippling Talons, Aspect of the Beast, Primal Intimidation, and Kill Command.

  • As an added bonus, Rexxar takes mercenary camps efficiently and effectively.

Overall Rexxar is strong on this battleground, but again it is best to play him with another warrior.

This is the standard Rexxar build for Dragon Shire. Again, pick according to your needs.

#3 E.T.C.

E.T.C. has been one of the best Warriors in the game for a long time, and what makes him so good on this map is he can fill two different roles, whereas the other two above him generally are locked into the solo laning role.

  • E.T.C. can be the solo laner for the team. He has solid sustain, decent wave clear with Echo Pedal, and can select Stage Dive for cross map rotations.

  • He also can be with the four man unit that rotates between mid and top.

  • His pick potential is excellent with Powerslide, Face Melt, and Stage Dive or Mosh Pit.

  • He can easily hold a shrine alone if he has to with Prog Rock buffed Guitar solo.

E.T.C. is the one warrior in this list that can be played as a solo Warrior if necessary. He functions well in basically every team composition and can fill different roles for the team based on what is needed. It is this versatility that helps him make this list over the likes of Diablo, Muradin, and Johanna who are close fourths.

Here is the standard Dragon Shire E.T.C. build. Once more, pick the talents that fit the game you are playing in.

These are the best Warriors on Dragon Shire.

Some of you may agree or disagree, but from my personal experience, data for the battlegrounds, and from what I have seen in various levels of play I think these three are the most well suited for this battleground.
