Yesterday the deciding matches on WC3L offline playoffs were played. In the end SK-Gaming and World Elite were the two teams who qualified. Play.it and NIP3 will have to lick their wounds and come back in Season X.
A.S. Teamplay.it being one of the teams that might be playing in the offline finals was not many who thought. They were considered as underdogs in this season, but they placed themselves ahead of teams like fnatic, mouz and verGe. They can also be mentioned as the team that ended 4Kings's win spree, after defeating them in the regular season. Today it was time to face the Super Samurais from China and Korea - World Elite. WE ended third, and were not far away from reaching Top 2, onyl four points after 4Kings. In this playoff match, World Elite proved why their name matches their skill level. 4-0 to WE, and WE is qualified for the offline finals in Germany later this year!

Oh, what a classic. The two dominants in the Counter-Strike scene, SK-Gaming and NiP-Gaming have faced eachothe numerous times. However as NiP-Gaming.wc3 is quite a new team, they have not had the chance of playing eachother that much. A modern classic, or a classic-to-be it was, nonetheless. Two great lineups, SK-Gaming having maybe their HoTtest lineup right now - Zacard, HoT, Deadman and Insomnia. NiP-Gaming also had their powerhouse lineup with Korean star players such as Rainbow, Farseer and the Undead machine GoStop. Schroet Kommando did however prove a bit too strong for the WC3L newcomers NiP, and took home three 1on1 wins, and then it was a fact that SK-Gaming is once again qualified for the WC3L offline playoffs, as so many times before.
