Drafting might not be the most glamorous part of eSports, but it is a critical component. The pick and ban phase of a game is a puzzle that the teams have to solve. What power picks are there right now? What are my opponents’ comfort picks? What map are we playing and what heroes are good on this map. These are all questions that are critical to answer when solving the drafting puzzle.

Illidan was a takeaway pick. Against Korean teams and against Rich specifically you have to either ban Illidan or take it. Rich is the best Illidan player in the world and can easily carry games on him.

Kerrigan is top priority on Infernal Shrines. Kerrigan has been a staple on this map since last season and is a must pick or ban on the map. Ravage build gets insane value on the shrine minions.

Rehgar is not an extremely strong hero right now. He was taken as comfort for Merryday, not because he was necessarily the best pick.
- Uther is an Illidan enabler and it is best to take him away. Uther with his burst healing and Divine shield make Illidan much stronger. I think MVP Black could have taken Uther away from Denial and had a much more solid draft.
