The big team Infernal Gamers has joined the German-based multigaming clan fanatic. Known for having a skilled FIFA 06 squad, fanatic now has a sharp StarCraft: Brood War squad as well.

The clan Infernal Gamers has been around for a very long time and has for quite some time now belonged to some of the best. Mixed with top Koreans and also some of the very best gamers in Europe, they have shown that they compete with the best, especially by looking at their success in ESL StarCraft Clan League, ending at third place in the playoffs.

Fanatic with FIFA06, WC3: DotA and CS squads

News struck the StarCraft scene earlier this week that Infernal Gamers had joined up with the German multigaming clan Fanatic, a clan with a FIFA 06 squad, WarCraft 3: DotA and a Counter-Strike squad. Their most successful one is FIFA 06, which is one of the best ones in Europe. They have a total of four sponsors, XuffiX, Apcod-Computer, Multi-Hosting and Gainpad. With joining this team, Infernal Gamers gets a better shot in getting bigger sponsors, and a but of more stable and professional ground to stand on.

GosuGamers contacted the Infernal Gamers leader, iG.BingBong to sort a few things out to the merge:

How did you come in contact with the multigaming clan Fanatic, and what decided you to join them?
- They contacted me. They wanted a StarCraft squad and they were really interested in our team also because last SCCL ranking list.
I joined them so we can support our gamers better in tournaments and LAN events. We are also going to try to find a big sponsor, which is a lot easier when you got more teams from newer games. And the most people I've met so far are pretty cool.

Are all the previous members from Infernal Gamers still around?
- Yes.

Will the players sign a contract with the new organisation?
- Well, we now got three sponsors for the team - Gainpad who sell mousepads and that type of things. There's Apcod-Computer and www.gamerstyle.de
We aren't going to sign a contract right now, we will do it when we gained all sponsors for everything.

Have you had other offers from multigaming clans?
- Yes but they didn't seem so interesting as Fanatic did.
