The crew at GosuGamers is one of the biggest reasons for the variety in the number of daily visitors to the site. If we are in a long "lazy-period" (meaning no news items for a 4-5 days), the number of visitors will decrease rapidly. It's not like this happen very often, but still, it's an important task. Therefore, we always search for people to work with us and make this site better for each day. Recently, some updates has been made in the sG Crew lineup:
New crew members
Jonas "Mellow" Stenberg joined the crew, 23rd of November. Mellow is a former member of the crew who has been working with us back when the site was Swedish. He will be working with site development (programming), news and hopefully one or two replays.
Thomas "AxIOn" Rasmussen, 24th of November.Axion joined the crew today, and will be working with the replay section. Which, if you didn't know, has been changed in it's design a bit during the past few weeks.
People who have left the crew
Guillaume "GioM" HurbaultGioM, our member of the events team and a part of the administration team for sG Power League has left the crew.
Ludvig "Icarus" Holm Icarus, previously known as Ngine, has left us aswell. He was a member of the editorial team and is still a great personal friend of mine.
Good luck to Ludvig and Guillaume with whatever they will do in the future, and welcome to Jonas and Thomas!
The current crew section is not really updated, but will be shortly. It is currently available at the 'About' menu button.
Dreamhack
The Swedish LAN-party Dreamhack - the world's biggest LAN with 5000 participants - will start Thursday 27th and end Sunday the 30th of November, this weekend. GosuGamers will be there hosting a mighty Starcraft: Brood War tournament with prizes worthy of the game. We will give you reports from the results and some pictures and stuff from the LAN, but no detailed coverage will be available, since it's just a tournament with lots of variation in the skill (lots of newbies, yes yes).
Mazor, BallS, poGDI and Mellow will be there. We are really looking forward to it and if you are going, please come and say hello to us!
