Over at
Gamingeye.com, a powerstruggle in the shape of a
Showgame was held earlier today. Both were national team members who mastered the three races and were both hungry for the win. The match was played best out of seven, and the loser picks a map out of the map-pool.
In the left corner the player known as »
Eriador[pG] stood, one of the best Norwegian players right now. His real name is
Eivind Leknes and is a member of the clan Pro-Gaming.
In the right corner was a slightly inactive swedish player named »
U.F.O. He used to be a pretty active WGTour player, and was a first choice in the Swedish national team. His real name is
Tobias Ingjald, living in Örebro, Sweden.
Here's the result:
Eriador[pG] | > | U.F.O | @ Hall of Valhalla | 1-0 | » Replay |
Eriador[pG] | > | U.F.O | @ The Lost Temple | 2-0 | » Replay |
Eriador[pG] | > | U.F.O | @ Bifrost | 3-0 | » Replay |
Eriador[pG] | > | U.F.O | @ Guillotine | 4-0 | » Replay |
Unfortunately, inactivity and lack of motivation was clearly something that U.F.O suffered from. And along with Eriador's great performance, we didn't get to see more than four games. Well, three actually, since the third game made Starcraft crash for everybody in the game. Despite this, the players showed us some good games, and I strongly recommend the first replay, where
Eriador manages to defeat
U.F.O on the island map Hall of Valhalla.
