Testie won due to diss?

[s]event[/s]Yesterday the third All Star Tournament came to an end. In the final, Testie and Twisted were fighting about the win and a prize sum of €75. Testie won - after four disconnections!

Team Extreme's highly anticipated All Star Tournaments got a new » sponsor for yesterday's tournament, offering products out of their online game webshop worth a total of €75. It all came down to a major conflict including an admin, and the following two players:

Canada Nal_Testie;
coming from the upper section of the brackets, beat top players like
Finland DSky.aqrash, Finland ToT)Ovvi( and Germany Breakdown[pG] to get to the finals.

Netherlands iD.Twisted;
coming from the lower bracket part, won to Canada HnR)Pride,
Canada VeG[pG] and Sweden GoS-Chaso(TE).

The first game was played at Nostalgia which Twisted won "fairly easy" according to himself - yet no signs of any inconvenience whatsoever. In the second game, however, Testie's internet connection started to create issues; he was disconnected over and over again. Testie did not only disconnect once or twice, but four times! After the first disconnect, they replayed the game and saved between short periods in the game, and resumed from those saves whenever Testie was disconnected.

After a while, it worked again and they didn't continue saving that much anymore. Twisted claimed he now had a big advantage and looked forward to a win when his own Internet did the same;
  • Twisted:
"Then the most fucking awful thing happened, I disced. He of course claimed replaying from the savegame again. Things went on the same, but the change was that he knew I was gonna drop his main. So I lost after a while, extremely gay."Thereafter, the last game in the best out of three match was Lost Temple which Twisted lost.

There were suprisingly no specific rules about disconnects and the admin,
United Kingdom Lord_Marine(TE), said he couldn't disqualify Testie in the middle of the finals, especially not since money was included. So, Canada Nal_Testie ended up as tournament winner, €75 richer. Also worth noting is that Sweden Chaso suprisingly beat the Chinese national World Cyber Games winner, China LinYu)PJ, in the second round. Good work!

Brackets and replays can be found at Clan Team Extreme's official homepage (below).
