The second game of the first round of matches featured Natus Vincere and Team Solomid who battled it out in CCS only a few days ago where the Danish team was better with 2-0 win. This time we could see them facing each other in the LAN environment on Natus Vincere's home soil. TSM decided to pick de_inferno which is recently proven to be one of the strongest maps of this team, whereas Na'Vi decided to go with de_dust2. The last map in the pool after the veto process was de_overpass and it was chosen to be the deciding map if needed.

Na'Vi kicked off on CT side of de_inferno and struggled a lot. They went for a four man stack over on B site on the pistol round. This ended worse for Na'Vi as TSM traded nicely and in the end came out on the top of it in a 2v1 situation. However, the Ukrainian team stroked back with a round win, and the breathing room allowed Na'Vi to calmly proceed forward. Until, the tec9 train was shown once again as TSM just overcame all opponents on B bombsite and easily took another round. From this point on, the match was back and forth for both teams and the Danish team could have been happier with the final score of this half, which was 8-7 in their favor. Moving on to CT side, TSM lost the pistol round but took the round that followed it. In the end it was easy for the Danish to pick up the rest of the game, ending at 16-11, and a one game lead in the best of three.

The second map, de_dust2, brought a lot more entertainment and heart-breaking moments. Na'Vi took an early lead over on T side, but the Danes managed to collect 6 rounds for 6-9 at the end of the first half. In the second half, we could see an aggressive approach by Na'Vi as they were playing CT side and rushing up the middle, picking a few kills on the way. However, TSM won the economical battle as they had tec9s, and Na'Vi was left struggling with famases and scouts. In the end they clutched the overtime where they were their performance was on point. Winning all 3 rounds on CT side and their first one on T side allowed them to equalize map wins and prolong the game into a third match.

The deciding map was played on de_overpass where Na'Vi started on more favored CT side. The first part of first half was given to TSM, due to their unstoppable tec9 train. However, the Ukrainian team made a nice comeback from 5-5 for 10-5 and ended up going to the second half with a nice lead. TSM won the pistol round in the second half making it 10-6 and making a comeback look quite possible, Na'Vi snowballed with the tec9, led by great flamie, who one tapped three enemies and secured the round for his team. TSM was constantly pushed to 'eco' or force buy, Na'Vi was able to use that to score round after round. In the end the final score was 16-11 and Na'Vi moves to round 2 of the winners bracket, while TSM will have to fight through the lower bracket.
