In a post on their website, Riot gave League players an idea of things to come in the new year, hinting at a greater variety of game modes and unveiling One for All.
Riot says they will implement these new modes on at a time to gauge reaction from players, and use feedback to improve or create new modes, each with a “unique spin on the classic League of Legends formula”.
The first of these is One for All mode, where each team has all five players on the same champion. This mode was originally revealed a few weeks ago, when players uncovered files in a patch which allowed them to prematurely enter into this mode. The new discovery led to massive positive response (not to mention more than a fair share of hilarious videos) and it seems that Riot has listened to its player base which clamored for an official version of the new mode.
Expect One for All mode to enter into the client soon, and hopefully followed by a series of game modes in the near future.
