A leak from voice actress Lani Minella’s portfolio betrays the possible name of the next expansion.
Lani Minella—a voice actress who’s been doing voiceovers for 23 years now—has worked on multiple Blizzard games in the past and from the looks of it, we might be hearing her voice again very soon, in Hearthstone’s next expansion.
The voice of classic Hearthstone cards such as [card]cult master[/card], [card]arathi weaponsmith[/card] and [card]imp master[/card] looks to be part of the Spring release of new cards for Blizzard’s CCG. Her portfolio on her official website lists “Hearthstone: Lost Secrets of Un’Goro” as one of her projects, with cards such as Golakka Crawler, Pteradactyl, Anklesaur, Hydra and Brontosaurus.
If that is the case, what would that mean for the expansion theme? In Azeroth, the Un’Goro Crater is a zone blooming with exotic life: Dinosaurs, devilsaurs and the likes. The Crater is also believed to be connected with the titans, a race of mighty creatures and creators of life.
The fanbase can only speculate for now as nothing has been confirmed but if Un’Goro is really coming to Hearthstone, we are in for a very “The Lost World” vibe with prehistoric creatures and everything.
