Rogue Rogue Rogue your boat gently down the stream, Ferryman.
The Gadgetzan Ferryman was revealed on YouTube by Gero and Tsubaki. A 2 mana 2/3, the card doesn't boast incredible stats, similar to [card]River Crocolisk[/card]. Its combo effect is not particularly shiny either. Coming in at the same cost is [card]Youthful Brewmaster[/card]. There is something to be said for the Ferryman's effect not necessarily having to trigger (if you have a minion on board you don't HAVE to return it with the Ferryman, unlike with Youthful Brewmaster), though serious applications for the card are at least tough to find. With the Jade Lotus' Golem mechanic perhaps it allows for a slightly bigger Jade Golem to be built on a turn, but on first glance it looks like the card won't see much play.
Also revealed on YouTube, this time by Mamytwink, was the Daring Reporter. Those who have read the Gadgetzan Gazette's Blizzard posted will recognize the newspaper's Chief investigative Reporter, Dora R., in the card art. The card itself is at least a 4 mana 4/4, but could grow very quickly. Mill decks are built around making your opponents draw so many cards that they overdraw, and reach fatigue quickly. In the past Mill Druids used cards like [card]Naturalize[/card], while Mill Rogues like the [card]Coldlight Oracle[/card] plus [card]Shadowstep[/card] combination. Mill decks aren't very strong at the moment, but those who love them will find a nice addition in the Daring Reporter.
