With Blizzcon around the corner, Blizzard is oiling up the hype train by releasing yet another hint towards the next expansion's theme.
A few days ago the world of Hearthstone received a postcard, which read "Greetings from Gadgetzan". The image didn't provide much information besides a possible location for the next expansion to be set in, but the community exploded nevertheless. The excitement was met with another teaser: the Gadgetzan Gazette vol. 32 #7. The news page spoke of a newly built vault, said to be unbreakable. The most interesting thing featured on the image was, however, a link to a Hearthstone chatbot. Through automatically generated answers one was able to discover more about the news and events in Gadgetzan.
Today another newspaper hit the shelfs, talking about a new port in the Goblin-made trading city. The article refers to shady figures in the city, much like the chatbot does and the previous article did. The most interesting part is perhaps when the article refers to "red mana" being smuggled in, which might refer to a new mechanic or card(s). This all hints towards some mafia-like organization slowly taking over the city, which would be another event created by the Hearthstone developers - nothing like that happens in World of Warcraft.
