Last week we asked you “Who will win Last Call Americas?” Today, we’re counting the vote and there’s a clear favorite, at least for our GosuCommunity.
Frank “Fr0zen” Zhang of Luminosity Gaming leads the polls by a huge margin, having collected a stunning 48 per cent of the votes, 30 per cent more than the runner-up and his team-mate Muzahidul “Muzzy” Islam. Rounding up the top three with 10 per cent is ESL Legendary Series champion and member of Team Celestial Austin “SilentStorm” Li.
Seeing Fr0zen that far ahead in the race is by no means a surprise. The American took second at the highly competitive DreamHack Summer behind Radu “Rdu” Dima and topped it with a championship run at ONOG Circuit Finals. He’s won close to $15,000 this year and was nominated for player to watch in GosuAwards summer, taking the runner-up prize behind Simon “Crane” Raunholst.
With a Blizzcon spot on the line on Saturday, this is by far Fr0zen’s biggest challenge yet. It’s very likely that a grand final between him and Muzzy will be in the books, not to mention his unusual choice of decks, including both Control Priest and N’Zoth Paladin.
