Decklist spotlight: Firebat's Beast Druid /w Menagerie Warden

Menagerie Warden might just be the best card in Karazhan, at least according to pros. Former world champion Firebat puts it in action.

[card]Menagerie Warden[/card] received a lot of praise from the pro player community. A powerful 6-drop for Druid, this 5/5 body copies a friendly beast on battlecry – an effect that is not to be underestimated.

Although it does require some set-up, it’s almost unfairly easy to get great value off of [card]Menagerie Warden[/card]. [card]Druid of the Claw[/card] and [card]Stranglethorn Tiger[/card] are both beasts that come down on T5 ideally, making the follow-up into Warden effortless. For 11 mana over two turns, the Druid player can get up to 15/15 worth of stats over three bodies, two of which even have special abilities.

The new one-drop [card]Enchanted Raven[/card] is also on Firebat’s list as is the new legendary [card]The Curator[/card], included not just to pull those value beasts but also thin the deck by finding [card]Azure Drake[/card], [card]Faerie Dragon[/card] and Finley when needed.
