Two new One Night in Karazhan cards revealed

From Asia with love: Japan and China bring us a Warlock minion and a Mage spell.

Just over a day ago the upcoming Hearthstone expansion One Night in Karazhan was announced. During the announcement seven new cards were shown, but two more cards were brought into the daylight today. On Twitter, Hearthstone Japan revealed the Warlock minion: Imp of Malchezaar. The 1 mana 1/3 demon not only has good stats for its cost, but it also has interesting synergy with the characteristic discard mechanic of Warlocks. Synergy is found in currently viable cards such as [card]Soulfire[/card] and [card]Doomguard[/card]. However, a whole bunch of cards that currently do not see play also work well with the Imp. Think of cards like [card]Tiny Knight of Evil[/card], [card]Darkshire Librarian[/card] and [card]Fist of Jaraxxus[/card].

The second card was revealed by Chinese website PCGames. Somewhat of a little brother to [card]Cabalist's Tome[/card], the Raving Grimoire combines the RNG with a 1/1 body. Though the raw stats on the minion are far from impressive, its battlecry effect do make it interesting. The Mage class has some of the most powerful spells in the game, and it certainly couldn't hurt to have a few more of those available to you. Currently existing decks such as Tempo Mage could possibly fit this in, although its current standard 1-drop, [card]Mana Wyrm[/card] does seem more powerful than Medivh's enchanted happy book.

Be sure to check out our One Night in Karazhan page for all the released cards thus far!
