You wanted it – we deliver. The GosuCup HCT open tournaments are making their baby steps across the pond in the Americas region starting July 18.
Although we‘re in our third year of running GosuCup tournaments and have had successful campaigns is Europe and even Southeast Asia, one region remained somewhat neglected: The Americas. No more.
Starting July 18 (PDT time) and running Mondays and Wednesday, GosuCup HCT Americas will set what we hope to grow into a strong trend that rivals the European and SEA counterparts. A total of four cups will be held in July while we gather feedback from the Americas‘ community and prep for the next editions of the tournament.
The format will be the same as the one for the EU cups: A Bo5 single elimination bracket, played in Standard. Each cup will award 7 HCT points for the Summer season. The games will begin at 21:00 PDT on Monday/Wednesday (00:00 EDT / 06:00 CEST on Tuesday/Thursday, respectively). You can find registration links and full rules below.
