Just a few days after the Americas Spring Championships have ended, the next event stands right in front of us. Twenty of the world's best Hearthstone players have been invited to the Sacred Trial, a prelude to the third Insomnia Truesilver Championship, to be held in August this year. The competitors will fight to acquire one of seven available tickets to the event in London to join reigning champion Ness. The full line up and pairings are:
The twenty players are divided into four groups of five, of which the winners will automatically win a spot for the main event. The players that ended in second and third places in their respective groups will then be placed in a Single Elimination bracket to determine who will win the remaining three invitations to the Truesilver Championship finals. The event will be cast by HCT duo Simon "Sottle" Welch and Alex "Raven"Baguley.
