The GosuCommunity spoke: ThijsNL with best chance for a second Europe championship

Last week, we asked you which of the eight players competing at the Europe Spring Championship have the biggest chances of winning it.

It's not surprising that even in the company of accomplished or on-the-rise talents, Thijs "ThijsNL" Molendijk won the community vote for the most likely player to qualify for Blizzcon from the Spring Championship. The G2 marquee already has one regional championship under his belt, triumphing in Prague last year, and if the votes are any indication, he could very well be the first one in Hearthstone history to defend an HCT championship.

Despite winning with a large lead, likely due to his sheer popularity, it must be pointed out that ThijsNL isn't far and away the only suitable contender for the throne. Esteban "AKAWonder" Serrano enjoyed terrific competitive consistency in 2015 and topped it off with a major championship at IEM Katowice earlier this year. Complexity's Simon "Crane" Raunholst and Mateusz "Loyan" Roszkowski have been on the receiving end of peer praise and there are certainly a handful of players who came through the losers bracket who showed great promise at the Spring Preliminaries.
