China goes against the World once again tomorrow

The regional rivalry is continuing on the battlefields of Celestial Championship Series.

In the midst of all the premier Hearthstone action this fall, the qualifiers of one high-profile tournament have been going on rather quietly. Since August, the Celestial Championship Series has been gathering players for its $25,000 finals, starting on the morning of November 30th.

The qualifier rounds were held exclusively for Chinese players and eight winners were given seeds to the main event. Big names of the new generation in the region were among them, including Zoro, Chaoshen, JieSha and others, alongside veterans like Blue and Fuoliver.

Those are now ready to go against the best players from around the world in another edition of the Chinese-Western rivalry. The list of invites is boasting the likes of James “Firebat” Kostesich, Thijs “ThijsNL” Molendijk, Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy, David “Dog” Caero and others who are hungry to get a chunk of the five-digit prize pool. So far, the West has been dominant over China, taking almost every single international tournament except for WCA 2014 and DreamHack Summer 2015.

The CCS finals will last for five days, starting tomorrow and ending on December 4th with the elimination bracket. The groups can be seen below.
