Following reports on a possible restructuring of the next Hearthstone World Championship season, we sit down to discuss pros, cons and possibilities for the coming year.
In an interview with GosuGamers, SEA champion Lan “Neilyo” Tran implied that big changes might be coming to HWC 2016, featuring a model of multiple major championships across the world. Although Blizzard are yet to confirm or deny this, we’ll take the opportunity to discuss at length what those changes could mean to competitive Hearthstone. What are the positives of such structures? Are there any negatives? What problems does this solve? What’s the ideal action plan for executing those?
Of course, news of the week will not be forgotten as we’ll examine the recently finished SeatStory Cup 4 and the return of Last Hero Standing to major events, including DreamHack Winter. Gnimsh’s departure from Cloud 9, Elky’s signing to Liquid, Frodan and Reckful’s runs at SSC and more will also be on the list of topics tonight at 21:00 CET when The Innervated #26 airs on twitch.tv/gosutv4.
