Forsenboys eliminate Archon from ATLC

Garnished with a flurry of “Sorry” emotes, Forsen’s victory over Zalae put an end to Archon’s run in the $250,000 league.

For the four teams in the ATLC Satellite bracket, each match is a big deal. Winning means potentially moving on to the live finale, while losing puts an end to the $250,000 dreams. For Archon, that dream was slain last night.

In the third satellite face-off to go to full eleven games, Forsenboys bought themselves a second chance to fight for a live finale seed. The series against Archon started on equal footing as Xixo and Zalae put their team to the positive but back-to-back wins by Chakki equalized the score. The score kept slaloming, eventually coming down to a Patron Warrior versus Zoolock match-up at 5-5. Spitting demons and other smaller minions, Forsen put up a scary board and no response from Zalae was forthcoming. Smelling blood in the water, the Swede made sure to keep his BM reputation, spamming “Sorry” emotes as he was about to close the series.

Forsenboys are not into the live finale just yet. At 19:00 CEST tonight, the trio is facing the line-up of Nihilum who took a solid 6-1 beating by Tempo Storm in the winners bracket finals last night. The winner moves on to join Cloud 9, Value Town and Tempo in Texas, while the loser is out.
