More Class cards and a neutral charger have been revealed

The month of the grand tournament is here and as such there is 3 more TGT cards that have been revealed since yesterday

Argent Horserider is another one of these neutrals that take 2 mechanics and mixes them together and are then given an appropiately sized body. There is not really much to complain about in terms of stats on this one. [card]Wolfrider[/card] and [card]Scarlet Crusader[/card] sets a precedent for how a 3 mana card with either charge or Divine shield should be statted. This one have both so it needs to be slightly below that.

Does that make for a good card still? Hard to say but [card]Argent Commander[/card] which shares the same combo was one of the highest tiered cards at its time, so much so that it had to be nerfed. It can be noted that this card is exactly half of Commander in both stats and cost.

I am unsure whether this card will end up making the cut, but I know that you should never underestimate a card with Charge. They tend to find a deck to be placed in, even if those decks are not the most enjoyable to play against.

Alright, from a card that was hard to evaluate to one that is absolutely a piece of cake to judge. This card is trash. It has no reason to exist in a world where [card]Polymorph[/card] is a thing. [card]Polymorph[/card] is, for those of you who have forgotten, a basic card which means there won't even be cases of new players substituting this for Polymorph. And you won't see players adding 2 of Polymorph and then one of this either. It is a worse [card]Assassinate[/card] even through Assassinate is not a card that sees play either. And wouldn't even if it was avaliable to mages.

It was Amaz who was given the "honor" of this card reveal and just like with Trump his reaction really said it all. You may pick it in arena. And this card WILL see constructed play... thanks to [card]Spellslinger[/card] and [card]Nexus-Champion Saraad[/card].  But you will never add this to your deck. Not that this is a restriction that matters for mages anymore.

Note: This is another card that have been translated from Chinese. Official english name confirmed to be Darnassus Aspirant

And finally ending on a high note we have Darnassus Aspirant, which was revealed on the CN vs NA stream. Its artwork have appeared in promotions and in the Grand tournament trailer making this one of the "covercards" for The Grand Tournament. And it is worthy of that. Druid ramp is as powerful as it can realisticly get but this card offers more utility and consistancy to the strategy in a slightly different way than that of [card]Wild Growth[/card]. The crystalboost isn't as permanent but the loss of tempo is much lower offering a reasonable sized body that can fight back. In a sense it is like a better [card]Pint-sized Summoner[/card] offering a boost in tempo for every turn it survives. Its body and effect is stronger, which again is completely fair as this is a class card.

The real prize though is if you somehow manage to bypass the deathrattle all together. Either through a silence or having it leave the field without destroying it. This might give boost to an ancient strategy in druid, the "watcher druid", which used [card]Ancient Watcher[/card] along with a silence in a strong combo. It fell off in favor of pure ramp, but now you might get the best of both worlds. Might even cause [card]Wailing Soul[/card] to see use, I have my doubts though.

It should of course also be noted that the existance alone of this card acts as a small nerf to piloted shredder. I am not one to complain.

And this is all for now. But this is the month of the Grand Tournament so more card reveals are certain to keep coming until the release.
