New Warlock card revealed: Demonfuse

Time for more Demon buffs… at a small drawback.

The Warlock menagerie already possesses several spells which are centered around buffing the Demon archetype. Both [card]Demonfire[/card] and [card]Demonheart[/card] are able to make the demonic horde stronger, but are never used in competitive play.

Demonfuse might actually change that. For 2 mana, the Warlock can buff one of his or her demons with +3/+3. The catch? The opposing player will gain a mana crystal.

Is it worth it then? It might very well be, yes. If Hearthstone has taught us something it’s that drawbacks do not really matter, especially when you’re about to close the game in this or the next turn. [card]Arcane Golem[/card]’s drawback – which, coincidentally, is the same as Demonfuse’s – has never really been an issue in competitive games, because the profit extracted from the charging 4 damage is a big one.

Same with Demonfuse here. For 2 mana, you can add 3 damage to your board and send it towards your opponent’s face. If that’s lethal, you won’t care about the drawback. At the same time, the additional 3 health it gives should make for favorable trades, and providing you’re not giving a powerful turn to your opponent, the tempo gain is good on paper.
