The official English translation of the three cards revealed on the Taiwanese stream is here… and there is bad news.
Four days we reported on three cards that were revealed through streamed tournament held by Blizzard Taiwan. It was a nice form of reveal but the cards were only available in Taiwanese. The community as always was helpful though and Taiwanese speakers were quick to provide a translation for these cards so that the rest of us could begin to analyse their utility.
Unfortunately it is not that uncommon that certain details gets lost in translation when cards are revealed in an Asian languages and then translated here by unofficial sources. This has been the case here too as [card]King's Defender[/card] was originally translated to gain 1 durability for each Taunt minion you control. It turn out that the actual effect is that it can gain 1 durability only provided you control a minion with Taunt. A significant change for a card already predicted to be subpar for constructed.
We apologize for any confusion this may have provided. On other note, it have been revealed that the official name for the card that was translated to Sacred Warrior is “Holy Champion”.
