Challengestone #3 announced

The tournament with competitive deckbuilding returns for a third round August 1/2.

Challengestone is a tournament series with a specific set of rules which restricts the deckbuilding in some way and changes from tournament to tournament. The first edition's rule was to use a) only spells with even mana cost and b) only minions with odd attack for all three decks, alongside weapons. The challenge for the second tournament was a ”True highlander” format where each player had to build 3 decks with the same class while only being allowed to use each card once.

In Challengestone #2 it was Aleksandr "Kolento" Malsh who won over Kacem "Noxious" Alexandre Khilaji. He is sadly not able to participate this time but has been promised a spot in a future Challengestone. Noxious however will return for Challengestone #3.

The other seven participants have also been announced in the reveal and they include names like Sebastian “Forsen” Fors and Jakub “Lothar” Szygulsky. For the first time so far there is also a player included through a qualifier. This spot was awarded to the winner of the ESL Tavern Brawl League, Jondo.

The prize pool remains the same as in the previous two events, giving out $1,800 to the winner, $600 to second place and $300 to 3rd-4rd. Casting this event as always will be Octavian "Kripparian" Morosan, this time joined by Tempo Storm player Petar “Gaara” Stevanovic.
