After months of waiting, Blizzard has launched a version of Hearthstone for iPhone and (some) Android devices.
After months of rumors and baited breath, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is finally available for IOS and Android Devices, sort of. If you are looking for your favorite card slinger on IOS, it may not show up in searches just yet. However, if you are on an Android Phone, you are sadly going to have to hold on a bit longer, as this new version is only available on Android Tablets at this time.
Update: The issue with Android Phones appears to be fixed. Feel free to send me a PM if you are having issues with your device model, so a list can be compiled.
As far as actual features are concerned, the Hearthstone mobile app features everything you would expect from its computer counterpart, including a full crafting and shop system, but redone in an intelligent and quite sensible manner. The app feels fresh, yet at its core, still the same game we all know and love.
Another important piece of information is that due to changes with file storage, Hearthstone is now far less demanding on storage space, clocking in at about 50% of its previous space. So with a smaller appetite and a great new feel, head to your nearest app store and pick up Hearthstone today!
