Asia crushes HouseCup Group C, Thijs king in D

Day two started excellently for the two Asian representatives at HouseCup #2 as TiddlerCelestial and Roger became the death of TidesofTime and Katowice champion Orange.

Judging by how it began, Group C promised to be a bloody battlefield. Both the Tides/Roger and Tiddler/Orange matches went the distance, opening day two of HouseCup with a bang. Then, the slaughter of westerners began as Tiddler and Roger flexed muscles to eliminate their opponents.

Orange was the first to go out of Group C. The youngster who recently returned from Katowice $13,000 richer crashed out early of his second offline event, becoming the second upset of the tournament since Kolento’s elimination on day one. TidesofTime soon followed him, his quirky decks not delivering what he hoped for.

Group D is still being played out at press time but it already has its undisputed victor. After a long streak of losses, ThijsNL finally got back on the winning track, taking a blitzkrieg beating to PEDROCLA (3-0) and then sending Archon captain Amaz to the decider match after four games.

Amaz is now set to play the winner of PEDROCLA and Guukboii. If he fails to pull through, he’ll be the third invited player to be ousted from HouseCup #2.

As usual, we also bring you all the available decklists. Happy netdecking!
