The Blackwing Lair is a place of serpent fire and death... and cool common cards, too.
If you've always thought [card]Fire Elemental[/card] is a cool card and have been jealous of Shamans for having it, fret not. [card]Blackwing Corruptor[/card] comes in to offer the same services. The card is a neutral common, a 5/4 minion for 5 damage, and it deals 3 damage on Battlecry, provided you have a Dragon in hand.
This further shows that the Dragon tribal will indeed revolve against keeping these monsters in your hand and using them to trigger effects of their minions. We've already seen this mechanic in cards like [card]Blackwing Technician[/card] and [card]Rend Blackhand[/card] and with 17 more cards to be revealed before BRM's launch, we should expect more from the Dragon tribal.
Next, we have Mage's [card]Dragon's Breath[/card] which is a bit underwhelming compared to the value of [card]Blackwing Corruptor[/card]. The card deals 4 damage anywhere for 5 mana, but it gets its mana cost reduced for each minion that died this turn.
The proplayer community appears to be reserved about the spell. Obviously, the possibility to reduce it to 2 mana or lower is a lucrative one but its condition still has to be met and in control match-ups this is likely to remain a very over-prised [card]Frostbolt[/card], sans the freeze effect.
