Mage, Hunter and Warlock are getting new toys to play with with the release of Blackrock Mountain.
The spoiler releases for Hearthstone's new expansion are speeding up. A few days ago, fans were introduced to the [card]Dragon Egg[/card] and [card]Dragonkin Sorcerer[/card], which shed more light on what the new Dragon tribal will look like. So far, however, class cards have been scarcer, with only Hunter, Shaman and Warrior getting a glimpse of their new additions.
That changed today, as three more class cards were revealed. First, we have the Flamewake, a 2/4 Mage minion for 3, which delivers two 1-damage pings when a spell is cast. Forst Mages ought to love this little fella, as they can combine it with their [card]Frost Bolt[/card] and [card]Ice Lance[/card] combos for more damage. Tempo Mages should also benefit from it, as the Flamewaker can significantly increase the effect of other low-cost spells like [card]Arcane Misiles[/card] and [card]Arcane Explosion.
Next, we have the Core Rager, a 4/4 beats for 4 mana that get's +3/+3 on Battlecry if your hand is empty. While getting a 7/7 for 4 does sound sweet, the fact that the trigger is attached on a Battlecry and is not an on-and-off effect makes it a very situational card as even Face Hunters have trouble emptying their hand by T4. It will, however, provide a lot of punchin power if drawn in the late game where Hunters are known to run out of cards.
Finally, enter Imp Gang Boss, the first Warlock card from the new expansion revealed so far. The Gang Boss is another one in the family of cards that do something when they take damage (e.g. [card]Dragon Egg[/card], [card]Axe Flinger[/card] and [card]Grim Patron[/card]) and is basically the Demon version of Dragon Egg.
