IHU lose their headliners Faramir, Powder and DTwo

Team IHearthU is suddently three players down as both its European players and world championship finalist DTwo all waved the team goodbye.

When Hearthstone community site IHearthU.com acquired team DKMR in November, they probably didn't think they'd have to part with more than half of its new roster before January 2015 is done. Daniel "DTwo" Ikuta, Harald "Powder" Gimre and Jan "Faramir" Engelmann will no longer be competing under the IHU tag as they move on to look for other opportunities.

This is certainly a big hit to team IHearthU, which was steadily growing into one of the more decorated teams in Hearthstone. In November, DTwo reached the finals of the 2014 BlizzCon World Championship, losing to eventual champion James "Firebat" Kostesichand finishing top four in The Pinnacle the next month. His European team-mates Faramir and Powder also did their part in bringing achievements to the IHU family, as Faramir scored back-to-back golds at Tavern Takeover III and Heroes of Cards 4, while Powder took the silver from Heroes of Cards 3 and Kinguin for Charity 2014. Thus, the trio alone scored more than $22,000 of winnings between them, making them the poster boys of team IHearthU.

The Daily Dot reports that the former IHU players had episodes of disagreements with team's management, particularly about attendance at the upcoming Assembly Winter event. GosuGamers sources further stated that the question of players' salaries has also been raised and that the groups is already in contact with several different organizations.

Out of the three, DTwo has spent the most time with IHU/DKMR management, being part of Don't Kick My Robot since December 2013, while Powder and Faramir were signed in July and August of 2014, respectively.
