IHearthU acquire ex-Coast Impact

Josh "Impact' Graham is IHearthU's new recruit, following his departure from Team Coast. According to team captain Poach, they're looking to sign one more player and bring the roster to six people.

During the summer months of 2014, Impact was one of the hottest Hearthstone players on the scene. Breaking out during the NESL King of the Hill series and maintaining his momentum in consecutive weeks, Impact made a name for himself and eventually got signed as a founding member of Team Coast's Hearthstone division at the end of July.

No longer a free agent, Impact's quest for a major victory outside the NESL cups intensified and in August he grabbed it, defeating Magic: The Gathering veteran Brian Kibler in the Sunshine Open finals. His next deep run came during the DKMR Cup in September, where a 2-3 loss to eventual runner-up Varranis stopped him in the semi finals.

Impact became a free agent once more not two weeks ago, when Coast's Hearthstone division emptied following a sponsorship deal with Azubu.tv. Forced to stream on the tangibly less popular Twitch.tv competitor as well as dealing with internal problems, Coast's players including Chakki, Twisted and Luffy went their separate ways, leaving the roster barren.

Impact comes in as the fifth player of the IHearthU team, just ten days after the departure of Jason "Jroc" Foucault who had a short, one-month stint with the team. According to captain Poach, IHearthU are now just one player short of six, which he believes to be "the right number of players". To the question if he's hunting for European or North American players, Poach told GosuGamers that he doesn't really care and he's simply looking for the best free agents. He also added:

I am extremely excited to be making this announcement.  We have some amazing skill on this team and adding Impact was the logical thing to do.  He adds a vast knowledge of TCG strategy, is an experienced deck builder and an exceptional player.  Look for him soon in upcoming tournaments.
