Listen all of y'all, it's a new Goblins vs Gnomes card for rogues!

No class is safe from the new RNG mechanics introduced in Goblins vs Gnomes and neither is the poor gnome seen in the art of the newest card to be revealed by Blizzard: Sabotage!

So as you sit back and wonder if this card will be played or not, let's get the obvious out of the way. Any card with the word random has the chance to backfire as what you see you might not get. That being said, 4 mana is decently cheap, and a successful combo with Sabotage is a free 2 for 1. At worst, Sabotage is a 1 for 1, and if it kills anything bigger than a 4 drop, consider it a success.

Sabotage's biggest strength is that it allows rogues access to anti-weapon tech relatively risk free. Anti-weapon tech has always been very situational and without much benefit other than destroying a weapon every now and then for a huge tempo swing. The drawback of course, is that anti-weapon cards become considerable weaker against classes that don't use weapons. [card]Harrison Jones[/card] is played because a 5/4 for 5 isn't too big of a cost for this huge upside. Sabotage avoids the problem of becoming too niche, as the need to destroy a minion always comes up in practically Hearthstone match!

When I first saw this card, I immediately starting scheming on a thing to make use of such a unique effect. [card]Deadly Shot[/card] has always been a good utility card, but because it is a Hunter class card, its uses in control decks could never be realized. Rogue decks on the other hand have the removal and hero ability required to realistically make the "destroy a random enemy minion"  text really read as "Destroy whatever minion you couldn't kill with backstabs, eviscerates, or weapons"

To talk about some card specific interactions, this is so far the best way to make [card]Blingtron 3000[/card] not lose you the game. Also, this card does not completely demolish [card]Tirion Fordring[/card] as when if Sabotage kills Tirion, it simultaneously checks to see if a weapon can be destroyed. Because the deathrattle happens after Tirion dies, the weapon doesn't appear until Sabotage has already destroyed whatever weapon was equiped.

What do you think of the new card? Will you never play it, or are you telling me now you'll keep it on and on? Let your voice be heard in the comments section!
