DreamHack Winter groups announced

The groups for this weekend's DreamHack Winter tournament have been announced, with thirty-two of the world's best players split into four eight man double elimination brackets. The players are fighting for a share of $25,000. 

With the DreamHack Winter Hearthstone tournament due to get underway on Thursday, the groups for the first round have been announced. The 32 players have been split into four groups, with the top two players from each group going through to Saturday's playoffs and guaranteeing themselves $1250 in prize money. The winner will take home $10,000, one of the largest prizes in Hearthstone eSports so far. 

World Champion Firebat will compete in Group A, where his competition includes StrifeCro and Archon team mate Hosty. In Group B Cloud9 team mates Kolento and ek0p, the latter of which is on a hot streak of form, will clash with Amaz and Rdu among others, while Group C includes Savjz and a first round match up between former team mates TidesofTime and Reynad. Current Tempo Storm team mates Gaara and Hyped are in Group D, along with others including on-form ThijsNL and Lothar
