A few days ago, Meet Your Makers and eSuba beat their opponents in the 1st day of the Gentlemen Cup. Meet Your Makers came out victorious versus DogeHouse and eSuba got a clean sweep versus Team MiA.
In the opening playday of the Gentlemen Cup, the Czechs from eSuba took a clean 4-0 beating to MiA. In a match dominated by Hunters and Rogues for the first three games, VanillaTitan, Alesh and Mirrari secured the 3-0 lead and it came down to Silhan and his Warlock to close it out.
The second series between fan favorites DogeHouse and Meet Your Makers became a 3-2 nailbiter in favor of MYM. In a complete contrast to the previous series, this one enjoyed a variety of classes, ranging from Druid and Warrior, to Hunter, Shaman and Warlock.
Kunzi opened the series for MYM, edging a 2-0 victory over DogeHouse captain Artosis. His triumph was followed by that of ThijsNL - a long time weekly cup competitor and quintuple ZOTAC Cup champion, who ousted StrifeCro with another 2-0.
Down by a pair, DogeHouse were up against the ropes and with Semijew taking the first set versus Gnimsh prospects looked grim. A comeback from his Hunter, however, kept Doges' chances alive. Another 2-1 by Ek0p against GosuCup champion Ignite pushed the series into an ace match where ThijsNL finally closed it against the DogeHouse founder.
