TakeTV Hearthstone Invitational details revealed

A week ago the announcement of the eSports entrepreneur Dennis 'Take' Gehlen with his second tournament in the Hearthstone world surfaced, now more details like the groups were announced. Everything is set for the second showcase in Krefeld, Germany.

Just a couple of weeks ago, TakeTV embarked into the new and undiscovered waters of Hearthstone, introducing the newest Blizzard game as a title at the first ever SeatStory Cup. Alongside StarCraft 2 action several ESGN Fight Night veterans came to Krefeld, Germany to fight to become the best player of the invitational. Back then it was "The Nuts" StrifeCro hoisting the crystalline trophy, now new names will fight for the honor.

As it was announced two one week ago already, only two players from the SeatStory Cup debut of Hearthstone in the TakeTV studios will make a return with the Polish RNGod Gnimsh and German bad boy ek0p making their second appearance. Both members of DogeHouse will be joined by a plethora of European players invited and two players qualifying - Faramir and Baddy.

Today not only the schedule for the event got released, but also the groups itself. A DogeHouse clash right of the bat won't occur, since both stars are the top of the respective groups. The Polish player and winner of the IEM tournament in Katowice, Gnimsh, will face off with Dutch Vortex, the German Sheepshooter and the qualifier entrance Faramir. Ek0p in Group B will kick off the tournament with a fellow German player in Sinex, while also having Czech player Alesh and the second participant to qualify, Baddy, in the group.

All the action will start on Friday, April 18th with the local heroes ek0p and Sinex starting, followed by Alesh against Baddy just one hour later. All matches will be streamed on TakeTV's own twitch.tv channel and most likely casted similarly to the SeatStory Cup with a group of pro players giving their insight on the performance of their peers.

That is not all the Hearthstone action this tournament will provide, since the schedule is also having some minor breaks included for showmatches. What that entails in detail is foggy at best, giving some suspense heading into the first day of the tournament. Right after the kick-off show with the two clashes in Group B, the first showmatch is set to take place - then we will know what kind of show Take has planned to put on.
