Organized by Hearthstone.2p.com, the NA vs CN Hearthstone championship will pit the four-player teams against each other on December 7th. $3,200 first place prize money are on the line.
The NA qualifiers for the tournament were held last night and cast by Trump and Kripparrian and were very representative of the current competitive meta-game. Aggro Warlock and Rogues were the main build of choice for most players, the aggro landscape colored here and there woth a few Shaman controls, aggro and Pyrofrost control Mages and - until the Ro16 - a few Paladins and Priests. As all the series were Bo3, each player was required to bring three different classes of decks and swap them after a loss.
The class breakdown for the entire event and the brackets are as follows:
Druid: 4
Hunter: 2
Mage: 24
Paladin: 10
Priest: 4
Rogue: 18
Shaman: 5
Warlock: 23
Warrior: 1
