EuroCup Playoffs first results

Three of the Clanbase EuroCup XIII quarterfinals have just been played. The last one, hopefully, will be played very soon, since Draco, who was meant to play against SarenS, has just taken a flight to Korea.

After a group stage composed of 32 players, who have battled it out to get a spot to the playoffs, the quarterfinals of this EuroCup XIII have offered us four beautiful matches, which are :

Draco vs

SarenS :

As most of you may know,

Draco has gone to South Korea to play the Courage League, where he can get his license as official progamer. Additionally,

SarenS (picture) was on holidays, but when he come back Draco went to the Oriental country. This match is pending to be played.

Advokate vs

Ex :

It's been a really tough match.

Advokate is considered one of the best Terrans outside South Korea, while Ex impressed us with his perfomance on latest Russian WCG, beating up all the Terrans who were on his road.
The match finished with 2-0, so

Ex gets out of the competition and

Advokate goes ahead to the SemiFinals.

yAn vs

Hullah :

Hullah has been a relative newcomer to the European Scene, at least for most of us (included for me). He has recently joined the Templars of Twilight and he has accomplished some good standings on the latest competitions. About

yAn (picture), there's not much new to say : he's done great jobs on the Ukranian World Cyber Games and he's now on shape. He has beaten

Hullah with 2-0 as result. Hullah gets out of the competition.

Strelok vs

Mondragon :

It was the first match to be played!

Mondragon, known as one of the best Zergs outside South Korea, and winner of the past ECG, eliminated

Strelok, who has shown us an impressive perfomance by his side, during this tournament. He is training hard for his World Cyber Games, so we will see "more Strelok" during this time, I am sure of that. The result was 2-0, giving a spot to the German to the SemiFinals.
