Another season is almost over and now you have the chance to define the one map that will be played the most in the upcoming season: The Map of the Season.
Season VII will be over in one week by now. On April 14th the doors will be locked, so that all the in-between seasons repairs may be performed. Season VIII will start - hopefully in the same weekend.
A great feature incorporated in Season VII was the Map of the Season. Playing on the Season map will give you more winning points with each victory throught the whole season. Each Season a brand new map is chosen. It was a great decision in order to foster gaming in different maps, diversifying the game away from just Luna and Lost Temple.
Choosing the MOTS is not easy task. The map has to be very balanced and it has to yield good game play. It also has to be able to support both 1v1 and 2v2 playing modes. These are a lot of conditions stacked up on a brand new map to fulfill. The chose is however partly in the publics hands.
This next season, you will have a chance to add your own map as MOTS!
Pat is requesting your suggestions, as long of course that it fits to the mentioned requirements. The map just have to be good and the most possible balanced but also completely new and never been used until now.

Upon reading this, and after a short PM exchange we received PGTour's permission to open a similar thread in our forum. Now it is up to you; go ahead and nominate your favorite - and unknown - map. If you do not have one, maybe it would be a good idea for you to check out the hundreds of decent maps at Broodwarmaps.net and simply chose you favorite. Make sure to indicate the source of your chosen map.
