Players can see how they did in the game throughout the year in a recap.
As 2022 comes to a close just a couple of weeks away, and 2023 looms over, VALORANT has just rolled out a nifty feature for all gamers. An in-game personalized recap of their escapades in VALORANT is now available to be accessed – called Flashbacks.
VALORANT Flashbacks will give players a set of stats and accolades they have amassed over the calendar year in a nice-to-digest format. This includes data such as total headshots and most-played agents. This is not the first time Riot sent recaps to their players – something similar was presented last year in the summer to celebrate the game’s full year of release.
Flashback comes on the back of the MyBadge online tool for players to create unique badges based on their own stats.
Receive your Flashback
To receive VALORANT Flashback, you need to be opted-in to receive marketing emails from VALORANT by 26 December. By default, everyone should be opted-in; but if you want to check or did not opt-in, follow these steps to put yourself on the list:
- Visit your Riot account page and sign in
- Under the Account Management page, select Communication Preferences on the left side menu.
- Make sure the email address you want to use to receive your Flashback is attached to this account, then make sure the “Communication from Riot Games” box at the bottom is checked.

You should receive your personalised VALORANT Flashback email in your inbox soon. Do check your spam box if it accidentally went there. Riot Games is still sending out emails and it may take some time for you to receive your stats.
