Mr. Cat Invitational (MCI) is a new online Dota 2 tournament centered on the South East Asian pro scene. Teams from across India, Mongolia, and Philippines to name a few, will compete from July 11th to the 29th for a prize pool of $10,000.
Teams from across the SEA region will gather to compete for the 10,000 dollar prize pool in both a round robin group stage and double elimination playoff bracket.
Each set of the group stage will be a BO2 with the top four from each group moving to the top eight playoffs double elimination bracket. Each playoff set will be a BO3 series with grand finals ending with a BO5 series.
MoonduckTV will be streaming the event and can be watched on Twitch here. The first series will be a Filipino showdown as Mineski face off against their brethren Execration on July 11th at 21:30 SGT.
