POS stops ToT rampage

Today the Templars of Twilight faced one of their biggest challenges yet--a clan war vs the Korean progaming team Pirates of Space

The Templars of Twilight have been in the news a lot recently; first, for grabbing several of the best international players, and then for ambitiously scheduling clanwars against top Korean teams. Their first two matches were unmitigated successes for the international powerhouse, delivering 9-0 and 9-1 drubbings of top Korean team Hyo. Could they duplicate their success against the home of current KTF Premiere League Champ South Korea JulyZerg?

Although POS was a little bit late, prompting some grumbling from ToT, the matches went off almost without a hitch. Unfortunately, Canada ToT)Testie( was unable to complete his games--first, because he and his scheduled POS opponent lagged too much, and then because he was called in to work vs the stand in (who was none other than former POS member and current Hexatron progamer Australia Legionnaire.) after an indecisive 1-1 result in their series.

Final Results:

POS 4:1 ToT

South Korea Fantasize (starcue) > Canada ToT)Xiaozi( 2-0
South Korea Sea[Shield] > United Kingdom ToT)Midian( 2-0
South Korea SonJa[SaM] < Germany ToT)Mondragon( 1-2
South Korea Freshen > Netherlands ToT)Strafe( 2-0
South Korea Bisu[Shield] > Netherlands ToT)Twisted( 2-0

POS's biggest star South Korea JulyZerg elected to sit this one out, giving their up and coming amateur talent a chance to shine, along with progamers South Korea starcue and South Korea Freshen; but even without his help, POS still scored a decisive 4-1 result. However, ToT DID manage to score a win with Germany Mondragon taking his series, and it's certainly possible that arguably ToT's 1st or 2nd best player, Canada Testie could have won his series as well making the final tally 4-2. This result in part reinforces the fact that the best amateur foreign players are still no match for Korean progamers, but still leaves room to believe that ToT can compete with even the best of the Korean teams.
