Dmitriy "Happy" Kostin defeated home-field player Hao "suhO" Su and Sung Sik "ReMinD" Kim in to grab the first seed in group D. Chinese veteran suhO could not conserve his performance from the Chinese finals and will have to see his Chinese team mates battle on in the playoffs sitting aside.
