Hexatron beat SKT1

[s]korea[/s]COULD 83% BE WRONG? Well, of course. An interesting game was played today; Hexatron Dream Team, the team that invests in foreign players was faced up against the million dollar team SK Telecom, with Korean players like Boxer, iloveoov and Kingdom. The game format was set to two 1on1 games and one 2on2 game. In the broadcasted studio, Australia Legionnaire, United States Assem, Korea Lovedom and Korea Jinsu were set to play Korea Boxer, Korea kOs, Korea Kingdom and Korea ZergLee.

The first game was the 2on2 game, where Jinsu and Lovedom beat Kingdom and ZergLee.

legionnarie.jpgNext up were the ex-pirate of space Legionnaire versus the Terran Emperor Boxer. By following Klogon's live comments in a » TeamLiquid.net thread, we found out that Legionnaire won the game by using carriers and a lot of harassment. The "that is many tanks" strategy, as United States Klogon describes it, didn't bite on this Aussie, and Hexatron manages to win the game with 2-0! Assem's game versus kOs was cancelled, since Hexatron Dream Team won two games in a row, and were thereby the winners of this round.

boxer.jpgAfter a close loss versus Spain Fk.ZelotITO with 2-3 in the » Face2Face event, Legionnaire manages to beat Mr. Progamer himself; Boxer. That's quite impressive. In the forum thread, Legionnaire says that he was pretty nervous, but after a while he got a lot more focused.

Is Hexatron Dream Team doing a smart thing by recruiting foreign players, or is it nothing but a waste of money? State your opinion in our forum.
