Let me quote BSTRhino from » Starcraft.org because he summarized it so perfectly and was the first to anticipate its release:
If you haven't played Legacy of the Confederation, you might not know what you're missing. A heart-wrenching storyline, combined with voice acting, especially composed music, new graphics and units, and even completely new cinematics. It's like a new game, except you don't have to pay a cent for it. TheOracle is currently working with his team of voice actors, composers, mod makers and graphic designers to finally close the episode two storyline the way it should have been. They are expecting a release in the first week of May 2004.
Well it's done! And ready for you to download now here:

Often I remember those early newbie days when all was new and every Starcraft sound and image a constant surprise. Sometimes I try to obtain that feeling again by playing with the starcraft music on instead of my mp3 collection, and although some old memories come to me, it is just not the same.
Well this MOD, made by The Oracle and Joel Steudler, gives you exactly that opportunity. A whole new campaign, a story line of its own, new units, new effects, new sounds and yet it is still the starcraft world.
Before you jump into the deep end of MOD worlds please try one of its many mp3 sound effects:

If you have a good fast connection you would do yourself a great disservice if you do not try this out. I have been adviced by Oracle that the campaigns should be played in this order:
Episode 1
Episode 2 (09-18)
Fallen Angel
Episode 2 (19-21)
He also warned me that some of the maps have "unaltered and rather low quality sound". I would not pay too much attention to that, these guys are perfectionists.
